Matt_S
Perhaps Jeff was right. (uuuuugh - That's upsetting in itself) See, you've got a sense of humor after all. :P
RobH
My essay has been submitted - all 494 words of it - and ALL from the heart!
SassyMama
I'm working on mine since I don't figure that I can reuse the one that appeared in Fanfare - at least now I know what drumcorps is about - then I didn't have a clue.
uncle z
(I'll consider a haiku for the next go-around.) C'mon--how about a thumb wrestle!!!!!
flashofthunder
I would enter with a serious essay if I would be able to use the tickets. I'll be marching this summer, and none of my family or friends will be able to get to Madison(something about a 15 hour drive O_o). So I would prefer for the tickets to go to someone who would be able to use them.

Flash's post raises an important point - the rules for the contest specifically say that the prize is NOT transferrable. The Winner may not transfer or assign the tickets to someone else. While we'd love to read your essay, you probably shouldn't enter it if you're not going to be able to attend the show. We started the contest this early to provide those interested enough time to make the necessary arrangements. GOOD LUCK! -john
DrumCorpsMom
......If no one wants to enter - that's OK with me ..... I'm sure I can find a use for the tickets. -john Hey John, I think this is really cool! I would love to win those tickets. I've sent an email in to confirm if Canadians are eligible to win (since it seems that we can't win anything from DCI - heck I sure enter often enough!). Thanks for all the work you are doing on the site. It is awesome!
Lance
Very nice iambic pentameter. They're definitely iambs. No so much pentameter, though. :P
Todd Tanji
They're definitely iambs. No so much pentameter, though. :P Busted by an english major! I was hoping no one really knew what that meant. :) Edited March 22, 2006 by BDUFLS
