Hi,

Maybe someone can help me with the right information, or can point me to it..

What is the 6/10 parade in Wildwood

Look on the Wildwood site and they call it the NJ American Legion Parade,

I heard it called the Elks' Parade... which one is it...

Is there a listing of the parade route and who is in the line of march….

Is this like the Plymouth weekend and they have a formal concert at night..

Any info would help

Thanks,

Pete

The Elks parade is not held on the Boardwalk...at least not when I used to judge it a few years back.

It was a pretty big parade...over a 100 lodges...probably 40 or 50 music units and 15 floats or thereabouts.

Hey, guys - For any event info in the Wildwoods you can log into my Wildwoods newspaper, TheWildwoodsReporter.com. On the upper right hand side of the front page there's a link to the city's complete calender of events for this year. Usually, the parade events list the route, as well as the step-off time, too.

Once you find the info you need, why not check in on the paper every Monday and see what's happening in the Wildwoods that week. The Caballeros Beach Party show (DCA Season Opener, for instance) is being held in the Wildwoods Convention Center on June 17th at 6:30 p.m.

Unlike most newspaper, this writer/editor is a drum corps person from way back. The Caballeros show will be announced in my paper the week before and possibly a couple of pictures afterward. Also, the Jersey Surf Junior Corps is holding their show in Wildwood on July 15 (Drum Corps is finally coming back to Wildwood's legendary Maxwell Field). And of course the Caballeros Alumni corps will hopefully be holding their Fall show again at the Convention Center. I hope!

Anyway, for any drum corps news from the Wildwoods or all other news, check my paper. If you have specific detailed questions I can help you with, write me at my e-mail address.

Yours in Drum Corps - Thom
