madalumni Posted June 20, 2006 Share Posted June 20, 2006 WOW. Love it. The way the red sash curves across the chest and is repeated at the top of the gaunlets is very striking. As much as I loved the uniform last year, I like these even more...they look clean and professional. Bravo! As far as the guard unis, I think they could work very well if the members nail their "characters"... otherwise, it could look a bit awkward...but I don't think we have to worry about that. I hear that they've assembled a great guard staff and the members are working their tails off. (Actually, it looked like a couple of them had tails ) Anyway, now I truly can't wait to see this show. If the ballad (Gabriel's Oboe) carries even half the emotion that the original does, it's gonna be a tear jerker. By the way, someone above said that they thought these uniforms were supposed to look like the 81 Scouts. I think you may be getting the Scouts confused with the Madison Scouts Alumni Corps. We will be wearing a replica of the 81-82 uniform (except with a sequined red sash instead of solid red) for our Semi-Finals exhibition.
