I don't know where you get the idea that SCV is less than a point back. I'd be surprised if the spread tonight is anywhere close to that. IF...Vanguard can improve in brass & percussion performance, and IF...they can surpass Cadets in colorguard and visual performance, THEN...they could win tonight (...over Cadets, I mean). bksrbsfl Posted August 2, 2006 Share Posted August 2, 2006 did I studder ? it's pretty simplistic... there's just not as much left in the cadets "show" to improve ( how much straighter can you carry the ridiculous pink tables while not playing or marching? ) SCV has more points to clean, since they have a real show that was made to challange the members and staff and peak at DCI, rather than an ego-mastrabatory "show" to aggrandize the "designer".
