tpt43
My first live show was in Atlanta 1976 at the old Fulton County Stadium. I had been listening to D&B Corps thanks to my director. It was so much better live. I remember Blue Stars for some reason because my band played Bellavia that fall. Also, I think Doc Severenson was at that show and played also. Someone with a better memory can fill in the blanks. :D
xhead
My first was in Westchester PA in 1976. The Blue Devils were there, on therir way to their first championship, and the Crossmen in their second year of existence. Hooked ever since. What else i like is reading this type forum and seeing how many shows i had a corps compete . Funny how many of us have been in the same place at the same time for different reasons and we dont know each other .
KungFuCharlie
July 18, 1995 Sevierville, TN. Cadets of Bergen County 88.2 Phantom Regiment 82.4 Bluecoats 77.3 Glassmen 76.4 Magic of Orlando 75.6 Crossmen 74.8 Nite Express 59.6 Pretty good show to start with I think with half of the top 12 and a strong div 2 corps. I had actually seen drum corps on PBS a year or two before while flipping channels. I saw "marching bands" and names like Cavaliers and Blue Devils, so I just figured is was some ACC marching band festival. :P
ContraRich77
My first show was 1980 when my older brother marched with SCV. I saw BD & SCV '80 live when I was like eight years old. Quite a rush.
