MikeD
Vicki Drummond - Blue Rock Ah! Long dark hair hanging down behind her shako! Black riding boots and black skirt! An incredibly deep asnd resonant command voice for this tiny little thing! The late great Richie Chirichella of Garfield in my era...one of the early users of a conductor's baton. Broke his leg in a touch football game we were playing against the Muchachos after the 71 season...while recovering threw a blood clot and died instantly. MikeBob
Bobby HullettStar Yes, finally! I thought I was the only one. The degree of control he had over that hornline was remarkable. Edited August 8, 2006 by MikeBob
X DM
Out of all the hundreds of great Drum Majors, (a few of whom I've stood beside at retreat a time or two ), there is one that stands out above all others and whose mere presence commanded respect . In my opinion, he was the epitome of all that typifies greatness in a Drum Major....... the one and only..... TRUMAN CRAWFORD. (He has conducted numerous time at DCI, so he'd fit the definition if we are flexible with that definition ) May he never be forgotten for all that he has contributed to the the Drum Corps movement in this Country, and may he R.I.P. Reed
I'll pass this thread along to Bobby H. He wrote our drill this year for Music City Legend, and is a friend of mine. He now teaches at Ravenwood HS in Brentwood, TN where he's from.

CloudHype
Who was the drum major with SCV in the late 90's? I remember seeing him in 97 and he had that look of bad ###!
X DM
Pete Emmons, The Troopers. Game. Set. Match. Great choice. I wasn't sure Pete was DM in the " DCI " Troopers years. 'Thought he was the Troopers DM just prior to the formation of DCI. But time can blur the years. But if he was the Troopers DM in the DCI years, he'd definately get my vote.
