Best DM Ever

Recommended Posts

Crap! Sorry Nikk. You definately need to be on there. That 94 Phantom

show was great. And you carried the Corps with poise and authority.

No, I don't need to be on there, nor do I deserve to be. There are many, many more drum majors who would deserve consideration on such a list before I. One of those was my partner in 1994, Roderick Saunders.

Speaking from someone who marched under you, Nikk, I can tell you that I consider you one of the best I've ever had.

You were a vet that I was able to look up to. You led by example, and I admired that.

So, yes, you are on my list.

These are two very excellent choices, can't believe I forgot about them. Didn't Joel win a DM award in '02? I can't recall

There was a guy from Magic in 94 who was really fun to watch. I forgot his name. Very big conducting pattern.

But conducting performances and leading the corps on a day to day basis are two totally different things, as another poster mentioned.

Ahhh, Kristi Spears....I havent seen a thread about her in a while.
