CrownSoprano2000
If you're going to mention Spurrier, mention USC. /my 2 cents //biased /// :)
Redmann
It would probably be best if he got out of it entirely. The crap he put on the field the last two years shows that. DESPITE HIS AVATAR, THIS GUY IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE MADISON SCOUTS. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE HIS COMMENT AS BEING IN ANY WAY THE OPINION OF ANYONE ASSOCIATED WITH OUR CORPS. READ HIS BIO IF YOU NEED VARIFICATION. <**>

I love nothing more than being told that a show that I put thousands of hours of hard work into is crap. You have a very nice durm corps. jthomas666
My soul is quite good, thank you!I just don't think Boxes, tables, microphones, gay looking bunny-men, and the such have any place in drum corps. Yes, what we need are macho-looking bunny men. The Cadets like to push the envelope. What they discovered this year was Newton's 3rd Law: When you push the envelope, the envelope pushes back. I said nothing of the cadet's talent - obviously they have loads of it. It's just too bad it can't be directed towards an actual DC show. Who are you to decide what is or is not a drum corps show. Oh wait, I know the answer... nobody.
77kingsmensnare
I have taken issue with some of Hop's blogs and what he has proposed as far as rule changes, but he and the Cadets have not put "crap" on the field the past two years.Yes, the concepts haven't totally worked, and this season I wasn't a big fan of the narrations and the singing, but I wouldn't call it crap!!! It's not crap but it is Marching Band!

elphaba01
Way to ruin a well-thought-out topic. "Hopkins, Alma Matter": You DO know, my pretties, that George Hopkins is an ALUMNI of the CROSSMEN, having marched there for FOUR YEARS. Just because YOU don't like it in no way makes it not a drum corps show. It was a great show.
