JohnD
Hi All and welcome to our coverage. Kevin and Danielle are here and doing a great job ...... and we'll continue to bring you updates all day from PAETEC Park Stadium. Here's the view of the stadium - just before SoCal Dream took the field. As you can see - the weather is going to be a factor today. COLD and damp (especially for this SoCal guy.) Enjoy the show! -john
kevingamin
Lakeshoremen are next to compete. I just realized this is the first time I've seen all three of these corps.
kevingamin
Just spoke with Jeff Ream. He's ready to run back to the hotel and add 2-3 layers of clothes. Of course, he wore shorts here, so who can blame him?
Danielle
At least it isn't snowing (yet) :) Strong showings, even with the weather for our first two corps in such conditions.

Can't be that hard : ) Jim
kevingamin
The wind and rain have picked up. If you check the radar, the yellow section of Ernesto is right on top of us.
cabalumsw
At least it isn't snowing (yet) :)Strong showings, even with the weather for our first two corps in such conditions. With a tropical storm, you would expect at least tropical warmth and humidity! At least the rain would be tolerable.
kevingamin
With a tropical storm, you would expect at least tropical warmth and humidity! At least the rain would be tolerable. The problem is that Ernesto is so disorganized AND it's interacting with a cold front.
kevingamin
Lakeshoremen's show appears to be composed of Cirque du Soleil music. Once again, the corps performing is not letting the weather stop them from bringing a strong performance. Sounds like the snares might be playing on mylar? MDempsey
It feels empty on a Labor Day without Drum Corps. Who is the John Madden of the DCA LIVE team? Don't spare us any details :) I nominate Tom Peashey as the John Madden of DCA.;-)
