mellos
So there is life on Mars!!!
mchromik
I felt inspired. Here is a place where there is little or no life left, T.L.Brown aka Starbase where Star of Indiana lived and worked. There are three fields, two with towers and lights. The original field directly behind the school also had a deck for the pit which is still plainly visible. The only sign of life is the Blast stage pattern painted in the parking lot. mellos
OOO!!! They updated the photo! The previous one was blurred enough that you couldn't see the BLAST! Stage! Just a bit of trivia, that black and white stage is the Broadway stage. If you could zoom in even more, you can just barely see the London Stage underneath it! Thanks Chromik!!! sopchick_01
Why is the field so patchy? Just curious...
year1buick
Beyer Stadium, Rockford IL. R.I.P. (Along with a couple of unlucky gophers...)
84BDsop
Why is the field so patchy? Just curious... Because the field is like a lunar landscape...hence the name (or at least that's how I heard it). Trust me....if you can march clean at Mars, you can march clean anywhere! PioneerWebmaster
There's no life at Pioneerland in this shot. A little disappointing that you can't zoom in all the way either. But at least the field doesn't look that bad!
