Fran Haring
For yet another year, I won't watching any of the parades in the Baltimore area. LOL. Lived in this area since 1991... and, other than the one in Havre de Grace north of here a few times, I have never seen the local parades. I have no idea why. Spandy
In the past have seen Sun Devils and IIRC Chops and Heat Wave..... Hmm, not Chops as far as I am aware. Perhaps a different midwest corps?
bill
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm? I wonder what one of the parades the Kilties will be performing in on the 4th? http://www.racine4thfest.org/

Thanks Spandy... must have been Music City as I usually get those two corn-fused (wish I knew why).... All I remember is couple of us watched the horn line practice at Havre de Grace and were standing behind the horn arc so we wouldn't be a distraction. Horn guy saw us and invited us to stand in front..... "Hey Hanover, sounds better from this side".

Maroon and black uniforms with black aussies... not a huge stretch to mix the two up
Kamarag
wait... WHAT?! they're coming all the way up here for parades? awesome! It's a huge payday for any corps, even factoring in travel costs.
JimF-LowBari
LMAO Spandy... my first DCA was 1974 and met some Spirit of 76 members. We were like "WOW.... you came the WHOLE WAY from Wisconsin... WOW!". Guess I'm just an east coaster at heart.... The uniform of the day for Tour de Bal-mer parades are Hawaiian shirts and shorts for some corps so that doesn't help either. Hanover "dresses up" in golf shirts with the corps logo and black shorts. Dang that Chops sop on the right looks like me when I chop the beard down to a goatee.... Edited July 1, 2015 by JimF-LowBari
