Baltimore 4th of July Parades

Recommended Posts

For yet another year, I won't watching any of the parades in the Baltimore area. LOL.

Lived in this area since 1991... and, other than the one in Havre de Grace north of here a few times, I have never seen the local parades.

I have no idea why.

Hmm, not Chops as far as I am aware. Perhaps a different midwest corps?

Thanks Spandy... must have been Music City as I usually get those two corn-fused (wish I knew why)....

All I remember is couple of us watched the horn line practice at Havre de Grace and were standing behind the horn arc so we wouldn't be a distraction. Horn guy saw us and invited us to stand in front..... "Hey Hanover, sounds better from this side".

Maroon and black uniforms with black aussies... not a huge stretch to mix the two up

LMAO Spandy... my first DCA was 1974 and met some Spirit of 76 members. We were like "WOW.... you came the WHOLE WAY from Wisconsin... WOW!". Guess I'm just an east coaster at heart....

The uniform of the day for Tour de Bal-mer parades are Hawaiian shirts and shorts for some corps so that doesn't help either. Hanover "dresses up" in golf shirts with the corps logo and black shorts.

Dang that Chops sop on the right looks like me when I chop the beard down to a goatee....
