  1. and now with them we at least know the music selections earlier than we did then.
  2. it's not just performance rights, there's arrangement rights, sync rights....but still, thats stuff that DCI requires to have in hand in April.
  3. they don't. it's not as cut throat there so licensing is the reason used
  4. married up too! i taught his wife briefly when she was in high school!
  5. i did recently on DCAF....then at the end i threw in my usual prediction LOL
  6. yeah and BD did and people fried it for being AI.
  7. it's tough maintaining
  8. the problem is everyone wants to be secret. they want to give stuff without actually letting you see actual show. they use licensing as the most popular excuse, but in many cases they feel this builds anticipation. funny thing is 30 years ago, when most of the planet didn't have internet access, unless Drum Corps World hit your mailbox, you knew less than you know now and were ok with it.
  9. whoever scores highest wins whoever scores next highest is 2nd etc
  10. i'm hoping for props with words, some blacked out and sound files with long beeps
  11. so far, depending on the corps, at least 3 weeks of rehearsals have been cooking
  12. in honor of their return to the stage, anything Rush
