  1. While (as we have ALL read here!) we know that the Express from Jamestown organization is disappointed about losing the regional after placing first in prelims, we're forgetting about the fact that we have a group of kids who just got back from winning their first regional ever! The closest they have ever come was the 2008 South Brunswick Power Regional, where they moved up from 4th to place second in finals (and yes, I was on staff that year!) Funny, back then I don't remember anyone from Patriots or St. Ann's on this forum crying about their outcome (they both moved down in finals.) It just motivated them to get back in the gym and work hard towards World Championships! Anyway, I hope the students from University of Delaware have been able to look past this forum and savor their win - congrats all!!!
  2. I voted for that one too Mike - over '03 also! OK - we were both in both of those shows :)
  3. Hello? HOW are we supposed to get points if we don't write our shows to the sheets?? The crowd, although supportive financially and emotionally, unfortunately doesn't put the numbers down!
  4. At the Trumbull Regional, we were told that there is a new rule stating that they must wait until an entire class has performed before prelims scores will be posted. Our kids were practicing not knowing whether or not they made finals - thankfully they did and after rehearsal we had to turn right around and go back to the high school for finals. Please tell me that this doesn't mean that in Dayton we won't have to wait HOURS to find out the scores!!!! Also - special thanks to Carman Dragone for keeping us informed of the situation and for trying to keep the kids' best interest in mind!
  5. Just got word from WGI that the Pittsburgh Regional was cancelled. Rest of regionals are still on - as of now! Stay tuned!
  6. Can you open up a thread on here and do like a "live posting" (like some do for DCA and DCI Championships)? We'd love to read here on our "home" spot! However, if you decide to "tweet", give us your user name so we can follow....thanks :)
  7. Yeah - www.mainguards.com or the TIA site is probably the best bet. USSBA's indoor circuit is for Scholastic guards only, so if you're looking to see Independent guards, you'd be out of luck! or.....just facebook me boo!
  8. Hey Irving!!! Joe from AE was looking for you - I told him I hadn't seen you! I was there, but since I'm working with the host guard, I didn't see all the shows, but maybe I'll do an overview! You'll be VERY impressed with the AE team! See you soon!
  9. Many groups don't like to announce their programs until they actually debut. However, here in the NJ/NY area, many groups are performing in Evaulation shows this weekend so I am sure info will be available soon!
  10. Thank you all and all the best this holiday season from Color Guard Planet!
  11. Morgan was also a member of the 2005 WGI IO finalist Syracuse Brigadiers. Congrats to all!
  12. I keep telling my boyfriend - when I die, sell my VHS and DVD collections - you'll be rich LOL
  13. Because it's the time of year when guards starting editing music for winter guard!
  14. NOOOOO!!!! I knew our record score wouldn't last forever, but nice run Brigs '02!!!!! Congrats Bucs and thanks all :)
  15. You did fine! Except yesterday when you jinxed Brigs' rifle line and 2 went down!!! LOL
  16. Yes, I have to agree. Fabulous coverage by our DCP team! Maybe next year I'll come up and add the guard perspective!!!
  17. To my 2 alma maters - the Bushwackers and the Brigadiers... It's so hard to see you both ranked so close and to see one beat the other, because you're both so close to my heart!!! Bush - make this one "the perfect year" and Brigs - Be the "B" - this weekend and always (I know I will!) and best of luck to my other friends out there (especially Hurcs guard!!!!)
