Anyone interested in the address for Lake Forest HS here it is... 5407 Killens Pond Rd, Felton, DE Also DO NOT SPEED through Felton, it is one of the biggest speed traps in the state (so much so that someone put up a sign in their yard that says "Speed Trap Ahead 45mph" on US 13 SB.

I'll be there to watch for sure. It's not every day you get drum corps in the First State.

This event was one of my favorites of the 2005 season. Definitely plan on attending, especially if you haven't been there before!

I'm wondering where to find any information on the I&E categories (requirements etc) and who the contact would be to discuss entry into the competitions. I know it's probably on the DCA website but all I've been able to find is the changes for mini corps and brass choir. Thanks!

I miss Blue Rock and other corps from the 1st state. It would be nice to have a corps closer than 2-3 hours away.

Being the closest corps geographically to me now, one of these days I'll have to stop by and watch a rehearsal. Hope you guys had a great open house!

If it weren't for my college roommate James who marched in Pioneer in 1997 (and then with me in the Reading Buccaneers in 2005) I never would have thought that a trombone player like myself could ever learn a valved instrument and play it at a competitive level in a drum corps. I also owe my high school classmates Adrienne and Bryan who marched in the Reading Buccaneers for introducing me to drum corps well before I ever considered doing it. Finally Mike Ryan and Josh Katz for bringing me to the Caballeros. Marching with my favorite corps of all time was a "dream" that I never thought I could accomplish (and wouldn't have been possible without those two individuals).

I think this is the bigger picture here. Personal feelings on a corps aside, I wonder if some of the people on here would want the Renegades to never come back to DCA. Sure seems that way to me. However, every corps DCA loses means one step closer to non-existence. My personal views on some people have really been altered based on some of their comments of late here.

The Inspires are pretty kick *** on both sides of the world, if that counts.

Even on Delmarva there are rinks in Harrington DE, and Easton MD (including a curling team!)

In 2010 Cabs had a Pre-show that never made it to the field. I still have it memorized and it had the only solo I ever auditioned for (and played darn well I might add).
