  1. For you visual folks, how would Boston have looked this year with white plumes?
  2. May the corps find another point to pass Cavies and break 90. Giants always!
  3. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. May your son enjoy his ring for the rest of his life and what it stands for.
  4. I believe this is what they are doing this year.
  5. Looking forward when we return to UT to take Big Bird out for a few hours. For now, the big guy is attached to a trickle charger.
  6. Randolph, MA was $19 and no passes. Getting a pass after BC and SCV were shown afterwards is a great deal. Using it at next years quarterfinals ($18 plus) instead of a $10-12 movie is even better.
  7. That would be nice, but since the design has been basically the same for some time, that seems not to be the case. Previous posts have mentioned that the 'Saders have better results in the domes, but that may not be the case beginning in Atlanta. San Antonio: http://www.dci.org/scores/recap/view.cfm?event_id=84ec591d-6c98-4d00-af9a-3749ae2da331 Atlanta: http://www.dci.org/scores/recap/view.cfm?event_id=03b03088-fcc6-4ea5-bf34-5b2a1d3de0ca Cavies guard has gained in guard big time. Prelims: http://www.dci.org/scores/recap/view.cfm?event_id=5f186909-1ed4-4a7f-bd47-02ef4a2f18fd Might come down to how the judges see things and I have no knowledge, like others, as to what a judge's history is. Just perform at your best Boston and you'll be rewarded.
  8. On the big screen, they seemed to have marched better last night. Just don't know if they can find areas where they can add enough points (after comparing recaps) to pass the Cavies since they will also be improving. Staying ahead of Madison is a worthy goal.
  9. Michael Boo: "IF" no Open Class corps were to outscore any World Class corps, here's how it looks so far. 22 - 75.90 Oregon Crusaders 23 - 73.45 Blue Devils B 24 - 72.95 Vanguard Cadets 25 - 69.35 Spartans 26 - 64.50 7th Regiment 27 - 63.50 Genesis 28 - 63.40 Legends 29 - 63.35 Gold 30 - 62.85 Music City 31 - 61.05 Raiders 33 - 57.95 Colt Cadets 34 - 52.75 Les Stentors 35 - 49.10 Blue Saints
  10. Have a great time Mike, eat healthy, and please wear your "tell it like it is" hat so you can give those following non-sugar coated impressions. I do not envy you or the judges. You've all typed or spoken many times on the majority of the corps and how they performed. To communicate something new has to be tough.
  11. Been out in SW Utah for almost two years and one local old timers opinion is that from TX westward, there is more interest in sports than academics.
  12. Boston is about 1.9 behind where they were last year. http://www.fromthepressbox.com/2011season.htm Stopped by East Canton HS today. The corps and staff are still working hard, but it's up to the corps now to do it. They need to out "do" everyone around them in the standings.
  13. Since this wish has been an annual one for a few years, you might want to take this one to the Genie thread!
  14. http://www.dci.org/scores/ Thought CC was supposed to have percussion issues.
