I think you are right about Boston not being a stepping stone corps.. If anything, they are on the move upward..........

This is all a plot to incarcerate the staff, members, drivers, and volunteers of Phantom and Boston in a moderate security prison for two years. This would eliminate the eligibility of half the corps members, and financially wreck all others beyond ever returning to drum corps after doing time. Furthermore, they would have the charge of "performing deviate" on their record forever, this would guarantee their banishment from DCI for eternity... The up side of this , is the fact that it would make room for two new corps in the top twelve " The Moral Majority" , and the "Righteous Regiment". I'm sure the event staff would have their hands full containing the crowd after those shows. The excitement would carry over to all the minivans in the parking lot too!! It will be interesting.

The judges might take some notice if BD B, SCVC, and Teal went head to head with the lower end of world class. They might just become somewhat confused as to who belonged where!

Just for one show, could we determine the placements by an applause meter rather than the technological left footed half step, decibel metered, angular projected, parallactic visual observations. Maybe for once, the majority of paying customers in the stands miight be in agreement who was the best corps. Even if the only explanation was that "they just liked them"{

Yeah , those drum corps crowds are known worldwide for their brawling and marauding. Nothing is worse than watching drunken staff members on a wenching crusade in Madison. The cops will be on guard once they see the fleet of clean and shiny minivans full of urban warriors from the Phantom Regiment out to settle a score with the loaded Honda Accords from the Blue Knights

A nod of respect to the judges that had the stones to call the show as they saw and heard it in Orlando. I was there! Nothing against the Cadets , or any other corps. Crown was the show in Orlando................
