Yes they have, and they should have known better than to come out with a weak show that relies on narration. - Just pathetic. They are doing so well because they play less than other corps, and it's a fairly easy drill compared to what the other tops corps are putting on the field.

Listen - (And this will be the last time I respond to your jabs ) - As I've stated - I've been watching this activity for nearly thirty years and have seen many, many changes. Most of them I have enjoyed. The first thing I've found that I didn't was amplification. It takes away the purity of the activity, and opens doors for more bad changes. That is my opinion, and no one - not you, or anyone else will change it. I know you'd love to help folks like me with your "enlightened knowledge" but it's not going to happen. I don't see it as a problem. I'm just fine with my opinion.

Wow - what a positive statement. I saw Pioneer live last year in San Antonio and found them to be very entertaining! I did my souvie shopping during your favorite corps show. Good use of my time.

I do love drum corps. I've been loving drum corps for nearly 30 years. I just can't stand ANY amplified voice - from anyone. Do I still like the Blue Devils? - Of course I do - even after the Yowsa Yowsa Yowsa puke fest a couple years ago. Do I like the Cadets? - not really but that's a point of view I developed long before amplification. I'd be delighted to see the Cadets win this year if the show had no narration. My opinion is that it is just distracting, and none of the corps need it to pull off a good show.

And who are you to TELL me not to make a judgement? That's right - nobody..... I don't have to hear it. ALL amplified voice - be it narration or laughter is bad by default. There is no place for amplified voice in Drum Corps. Enough said!!

Well a couple weeks ago lots of folks were on the SCV bandwagon when they beat the Blue Devils. I'm sure they will be in the thick of it come August. Remember - this is DCP where folks usually get on the bandwagon of whomever is winning on that particular day.
