Congrats to: BD for winning with an amazing jazz and possibly hazardous show (i.e. balancing on chairs) Crown for mowing through the competition all season long, causing incredible upsets, and winning brass To Cadets for having of the most insane drill I've ever seen. To Bluecoats for having an incredibly surreal and kick-### show To SCV for having an incredible come-back tour and blowing down the walls.

I second all the above. BD has some awesome music this year. I havn't seen them visually yet but they know exactly what they are doing.

While BD maybe not be agreeable in terms of drill, the music is cool and it's good to a jazz show. Crown is becoming really interesting considering they're beating people they've never beaten and scoring like never before. Personally, I kinda like the oddness of Bloo's Imagine. Kinda reminds me of the movie UP.

They could do what crown has done and pain/dye or whatever they do to color them creme. Might stick out less.

Not to down pour on your parade BUT, to quote Bill Cosby: "I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody". Just saying...

on a serious note, he has no one to blame but himself. He practically re-enacted that scene when forest gump goes running clear off the field after a touchdown. There's a reason that in a situation like that our brain should be telling us "I should stop know because I'm already in the end zone". If his career goes down, I sorry but no pity for him. Should have stopped kid. Next time, ask for extra clearance space.

Heard their opener recording on fan network. Such a beautiful sound.

Definitely heard someone yell "PUT SOME CHEESE INTO IT" in the 96 Scouts recording.

I almost forgot, Bluecoats had some ballin' swing in their 06 show. Their trumpets were freakin awesome.

I have to agree with that. And Crossmen 2003 definitely counts, especially their closer. Now that I recall, Spirit 2006 had a dixeland jazz show and it was pretty rockin.

What happened to shows like 02 Cadets, 03 BD, 03 Scouts, classic BD, and all the classic jazz shows. Is jazz now just an encore thing?

It will end December 12, 2012 when the apocalypse happens.
