    I wonder what people thought of vocals/singing when the Cadets did it in the '70's and 80's.

    I don't really like the story telling narration (long speeches and what not) I think the 'Coats did it best. They used vocals to accent a part of their show instead of letting become their show. "DROP YOUR WEAPONS!" Kickbutt :D

    Well, I'd love to see an American Flag section in corps; even if they're only in the corner of the field. Apart from that, I think things are great (though less expensive corps prices wouldn't be too bad, either :))

    Alright, Scouts! Looks like you got a nice pick up there. I'm looking forward to seeing this corps next year. I really hope they can get back to where they belong: in finals.

    I love all eras of drum corps, but the 70's really stick out for me. That was the era that got me totally hooked on drum corps. I love that aggressive (though strangly refined) sound, especially from corps like the Madison Scouts. I'd say, though, that my favorite drum corps time frame would be between 1974-1993.
