  1. One could say it's all smoke n' mirrors; but with the "type of smoke" that's always been known to be floating around The Blue Devils, who knows what they are seeing in those mirrors!
  2. I always remember the Beaver stations in Ontario. "Beaver works hard to save you money."
  3. See "The OFFICIAL 2012 Prediction Thread" for the answer. All in good fun, folks; all in good fun.
  4. 1987 DCI Madison! I sure do remember, now!
  5. There were a lot great corps from Canada, most being very unique from thier brothers and sisters from the U.S. . Let's check the ol' memory bank: Connexion Quebec, L'Insolite, Les Etoiles, Les Eclipse, Dutch Boy, Kiwanis Kavaliers, The Strutters, The Ventures, The Bandettes, The Cardinals, Allegiance Elite, Oakland Crusaders, Academie Musicale, Les Chatelaianes, St. Johns, The Emerald Knights. I'm sure I'm missing some; these are corps that I recall from A-60, A-90, all girl, and open class (how's that for "back in the day!").
  6. That would be way back in 1988. And that was supposed to be SCV's year while '89 was supposed to belong to Phantom Regiment.
  7. In 2012, Pioneer will march 15 snares, two tenors, no basses, 20 plates, and 3 pit. Their hornline, of 18, will have to double as guard.
  8. They are so gonna win open cla...oops, I meant world class!
  9. Not in the loop for any corps; just curious about the other corps that haven't been discussed so far. Although I do enjoy the humor that has taken hold of this thread.
  10. The Blue Knights are about due for another round of Trittico again! If they play that, they'll rise in the ranks!
  11. Hmm, last time I noticed, Madison was Madison and Crown was Crown. Is there supposed to be some sort of John Carpenteresque Thing mutation happening?
  12. Sometimes the drama, intrigue, and curiosity is with the corps that are not being spoken about or brought up in topics.
  13. There is one fella on that incoming staff that I know will kick a**; as for the rest, good luck Crown. I pity their drumline.
  14. So, I'm guessing that Surf's attempts at doing serious shows didn't work out and they are going back to doing novelty/humor/theme type programs? There was one only one Bridgemen; good luck, Surf!
  15. Those in the top 7-that being the "G7"-are safe. Any corps 8th or below, good luck trying to crash the party.
  16. With the exception of one individual on that list, I wouldn't call that an improvement for Crown.
  17. Bluecoats lost a lot of folks. However, like Crown, they have the G7 shield, and shouldn't have anything to worry about lower than 7th.
  18. Freddy Martin?... ...with Mike Back running the drumline.
