Here's a way for all to help in this early off season Northstar Youth Organization/Dutch Boy DC The First Tee Off Golf Outing The First Tee Off will be held Sunday, September 28th, 2008 at Grand Valley Country Club. A 1:00 pm shot gun start is scheduled and the rules of the day (scramble format) will be announced at that time. We are in need of prizes for the boodle bags, golf awards or door prizes. If anyone wishes to donate prizes this would be greatly appreciated. Volunteers are also required so, if you have a few hours that day, please give us a hand. An online registration form is available at the Dutch Boy website. Registration and payment by September 15, 2008 is greatly appreciated.

Fair enough. That just isn't the way I would characterize it!!

Accessible doesn't mean popular, common or often heard. New and different music is welcomed and appreciated. Presentation is the key. There has been a lot of new music presented in a way that the general audience can appreciate and enjoy. There has also been some less that accessible presentations. 2008 appeared to be a change for the positive with Crown being a frontrunner - even if some of the music was not new.

I haven't seen the corps since '06 but continue to hear mostly positive things about the corps, its show design, performance level etc... Obviously a 4th place finish generally confirms this. What I like is that they appear to have put a fan friendly, accessible show back on the map and in contention. I make the assumption that PR did the same this year In SPADES?!

With Punkydoodle Corners being in the heart of Mennonite country everyone knows moving parts on bugle are not allowed - time to question that RELIABLE source!!!!!!
