Again I disagree. Some of the Cadets dump Fests were literally 100s of pages of back and forth and like one poster said hints at Bodily harm and very lewd comments. It was very gnarly. VERY.

Also I agree. I CAN look across a stadium. I HAVE NOT seen any sort of outright going off on the BD performances I was at. Very lukewarm.

I agree Cadets got it just as bad if NOT worse. There's no poor little ol BD here. Others have received it just as much.

I TOTALLY agree with this. I've read posts on here where people say "This isn't drum corps anymore <gnashing and roaring >" and then they'll turn right around and say "Pioneer is stuck in the past" And I'm like WTF?!?!

Another point on Mics. The Soloist from Phantom can be heard extremely well even when he starts completely backfield and from the corner. Amazing clarity and projection. Proves 100% you don't need to MIC the brass at all.

Time rule as I understand it, Must be at least 10 minutes long and NO more than 11 1/2 minutes long . I wish they would go back to 11 1/2 to 13 format. Even some Corps directors have expressed this.

WOW Just WOW. Um. I agree with most of this but the Venom in it takes away from it. I am sure Lots of People love BD's show this year. And the fact they are Dominating, VERY IMPRESSIVE! I wanted to give the show even more of a chance. SO, I went to Woodland School Last night to an Open rehearsal that BD was having there and they even had a Q&A session. Very interesting. Even watched the process of making some change to parts of the show. Work ethic. Astounding. Professionalism. Through the roof. Help with the show more. MEH. It's not a lack of understanding. They answered a few questions that help. The show is a Marvel in it's freshness and nuance and such. Still, I very sorry to say, Doesn't grab. Does not Knock my socks off. No baby Throwing. And as I said a post or so ago, I am fully capable of observing a crowd at a show and TO ME it is very obvious the difference in crowd reaction.

I agree with him. He's not hatin'. I can look around. I can observe. BD IS NOT getting the crowd reaction some of the other corps are getting. Just an Observation.

I don't understand this statement. I agree with the OP. Most applause now a days is Polite the standing O at the end seems obligatory. I Remember "back in the day" seeing people openely weeping <---NOT EXAGERATTED. Babies thrown Several times per show through most if not all the shows at a show. Now a days it's a few in the stands kinda giving it up according to what corps is on at the moment but the rest are like Meh. Phantom's performance in 08 and subsequent score announcement not withstanding.

If you have a Ticket that has a BAR CODE (Ticketmaster) they ususally Scan the BAR CODE when you come in and when you leave and come back so that they can track you. May be a hand stamp involved also.
