I'd go with number 1. I feel like anyone outside the drum corps world would most likely just spell out the letters "D" "R" "M"

i know exactly how you feel. i absolutely hated many aspects of drum corps when i marched. it was probably the worst thing i ever did. yet, the only reason i didn't march this past summer was due to financial reasons. in the end, you find that its addicting and worth it and no matter how many reasons you come up with not to march, the rewards of marching are always worth it. then again, its something you have to experience, not told....so yea, march.

as a pit person, i can honestly say i would hate to be anywhere but on the front sideline. i never saw the point of putting them anywhere else like the middle of the field for example, unless it was a small band being dealt with, then i could understand. other than that the pit should really stay where it is. and i dont see why the pit should get smaller. like someone else already said, its already the smallest section of the corps so why make it any smaller? its hard to make the pit section cuz it really is only available to roughly 12 ppl, why make it smaller and make it harder to get into?

the fact that it took so long for the topic to get back onto the synth makes me laugh really hard lol

although i love both shows, i picked 96. that show to me had the passion and emotion that no other show has emoted. favorite 3 PR Shows 1. 1996 2. with 2006 closely behind 3. then 2008

i really enjoyed Bluecoats show this year a lot, i thought they were overall really good. but SCV was just interesting to me....pretty good but just interesting. I was definitely rooting all the way for the Bluecoats to pass them and was very happy when they did. Then again its only my opinion.

i voted for crossmen for underhyped. i really enjoy their show this year a lot and it doesnt seem that they're getting the credit that they deserve. i think that pacific crest is also underhyped. i saw them in the lawrence show and really enjoyed their show a lot more than a corps that beat them that night and a lot more than i expected to.

pretty close scores from 1-5. its really anyones game now. congrats to all corps tonight!

My prediction: Finals 1. Phantom Regiment 2. Cavaliers 3. BD 4. Crown 5. Cadets 6. SCV 7. Bluecoats 8. Boston 9. Blue Stars 10. Glassmen 11. Blue Knights 12. Madison Would want crown in second, cavies third, and for madison and crossmen to make finals

just thought id point out that boston and glassmen are tied as well, just saying...oh yea, go phantom!

i went and i was very impressed with them, especially their guard and hornline, and especially for being only june. their pits small but overall the corps seems very strong. good luck to citations this year!

but werent BD and SCV playing at a show tonight?

i say the bigger the pit the better, especially when its a talented one
