Golden Empire had a very strong showing for their first year out. Awkward moments but good production overall. I look forward to seeing them later in the season.

People are over playing this... I have seen 30 Blue Star performances this summer, and about 10 crossmen performances this season. Blue Stars performance was not at the level of their previous 3 or 4 shows. In Pittsburg they were up almost 2 points, and I expect them to pull it out to tonight by over 2 points, with a chance to pass spirit and blue knights... Crossmen's show is not strong enough to pull past Blue Stars right now...

The ending of the Colts show is amazing! Is that the drum major at the end, or a member in another uniform (not a drum major)? Very impressed, great show!

On 8 - 11 -- It is too early to really determine what the final outcome is going to be here. I did not particularly think BK did over 10th, and BS has work to do also. I have a feeling Madison will peak soon, and cannot really comment on Boston because I did not get to see their show live tonight. I seem to remember that last year the 8th spot even changed between quarters and finals. Nothing is set until the end, don't count and corps out, especially BS.

Every corps has a code of conduct for staff (and other adults, such as volunteers). I get excited when the corps do something well, and express that from the stands... that is drum corps... this is definitely not a classical concert. That said when adults cross the line it is the responsibility of the corps themselves to take care of it... that is it.

Scores mean absolutely nothing at this time of year. That said, Were scores influenced by not complete shows? What about if a corps pushed to complete the show, but was a little dirtier overall, compared to a cleaner corps with a less than complete show. You can not downplay the wind and heat factors. Lets say that the Blue Stars guard historically is scoring higher then SCV, but SCV's drumline is scoring higher than Blue Stars. Who won the caption scoring race tonight? That said, the movie theater was nice, and seeing the shows live was also nice. BD not in first... BTW I loved crown's show...

Eye opening, especially with the drum corps driving season getting underway. Speedy recovery for all injured in the accident.

I would like to see... BD lose to chairs and mirrors - lets get a classic late 90's BD Show (97 is my favorite) Corps bring back popular music that we can all recognize (i.e. 04 Cavaliers) Blue Stars taking top 6, maybe to 4, and get out of the 8th place slot. California world class corps (not including SCV and BD), placing higher, and in semis at least. The roof at lucas oil stadium to open...

Same problem here... originally fan network stated until the beginning of April (2nd or 3rd if I remember). I signed up on the 6th, and was given until the 19th or something crazy like that, 2 weeks. Now it is until the 31st...
