Keep Those Horns Clean....Or Else

You'd better hide well. -
I meant absolutely no offense by calling them dinos. As noted by emoticon.

Watched a few 70's shows today and I have some questions that I'm sure many members of the helpful DCP community can answer (not sarcasm) 1. Why did the judge shoot a pistol into the air during the Scouts 75 show? (1 minute warning???) 2. What is a color pre? 3. When did the mark time go "out of fashion"? 4. What was the first year pit was on the sideline? 5. What type of horn was used in the 70's? 6. What was the horn line size (on average)? 7. How are most of the hornlines and marching percussion so darn loud? Most of these questions are pertaining to 70's drum corps. Please help edumacate me.

I 100% agree with you on this point of the DCP community affecting the decisions of the BOD and the directors of the "G7". I could be wrong, but I THINK when most people are saying "Why post on DCP?" They are referring to the fact that well over 50% of the topics on the World Class Discussion Boards turn into a hate-fest between people on two sides of an argument that are very stubborn about their own opinions. They are not even arguments anymore, but rather, childish jeering and entirely opinion based "FACT" rantings. I will not head into the bomb shelter as the haters swarm upon this thread.

In your opinion of course! Not mine! We can agree to disagree. However, describing these hornlines as a "Chainsaw" is a downright insult to the MMs who worked so hard on those shows. In the future, please just say "I didn't like their sound because of A and B." A and B representing MUSICAL or TECHNICAL issues. Thanks and stay classy DCP!

YES! No one ever talks about this show, not the greatest drill but some great music! Les Miserables! Would love to see a corps try to do this again (not necessarily Cadets) -
   :worthy: DCImonkey does it again!

Scouts 95. Everyone HATED that show. -
Wherever it is, please can we just have it out of a dome?

Still prefer the Crown version but SCV 84 is definitely second.

After mostly skimping us out of competition this year DCI, how about you give Florida another chance? I know people didn't like Orlando, but Tampa would be a great place for it. We have plenty of great hotel space and a pretty decent stadium (Raymond James) Also we have one of the best airports in the country that makes flying a pleasure! Pretty Please?

Not going to respond to this because clearly I'm not going to convince you. Also your calling my opinion elitist ######## speaks volumes in regards to your character. No point in arguing with you if you are always right. This not even to mention the fact that my first post was sort of a joke. -

Avon, as much as I love them, does not represent all of BOA (same goes for Marcus). There are great majority of bands that do use that setup. Please do research before getting on your own "high horse." -

What you are describing there is BOA.
