Proud parent of a 5th year Bloo mello here! There are 2 of them who joined the corps in 2011, along with the white knight. They're nicknamed Grams and Gramps this year. :) Both have one more year to go and they couldn't be happier than with their Bloo family! I can't WAIT to see this show live! From every video I've seen, they look and sound amazing--on every front! Yay for double visual blocks during spring training! I may see them as early as DATR but will definitely see them in Texas, then volunteering on the chuck truck beginning in Chester, Pa through to Indy. I'm just dying to see them at that stadium in Chester. It looks like an amazing venue. I'll periscope what I can when I see them. @msplange Anyway, what an incredible activity with a rich history!! I'm so thankful my daughter has been able to be a part of it.

Thanks for the report! Glad to hear visual was clean tonight! They've had the new ending in since Nashville and it seems to be very well received by the judges, and I personally love it too! Great final impact! Go Bloooo!!!

I'm so glad to see you on this thread rainshdw08! It's awesome having a weather man in the family! ;) I'm heading up from Austin in the morning and was planning to take my mom to the show. I'm going to keep a close watch on this thread for your weather updates! I've been SOOOOO looking forward to seeing the Bluecoats show IN PERSON. I know YouTube doesn't do it justice!!! If this show gets rained out, that'll be #4 for them--crazy. We're planning to hit all of the Texas shows, and at least we know what the weather will be in the Alamodome!

This is a great interview. Definitely worth a listen! Loved hearing about how they accomplish the pitch bends in the closer.

Bloo mellos (prop builders) are sheltered in or near the field house right now, hoping they don't have their third rained out show of the season tonight. I really hope that all of the corps get to perform tonight. I hate to see any show get rained out. I know that the corps savor every opportunity they get to perform.
