If Madison has a well designed finalist caliber show performed at a high level I could see them moving up a couple places. The catch is having to bump corps that are equally hungry. I think the days of huge placement jumps are a thing of the past, the last one being Blue Stars jump from 14th to 8th in 2008.

I don’t think they ever were. He wasn’t a contemporary of Richie and Potsie at Jefferson High.

I might be wrong but I think the reason Pioneer was successful competitively during that time is because Roman was involved with running DCM. The corps was under different directorship and I don’t think Roman was as heavily involved. The real downfall happened after the demise of DCM and Roman’s taking over complete control.
