I love Christmas music, so this is a hit for me. I also think it's a great marketing move. There are not many shows with Christmas music in DCI. Adding another can boost the money they get in during the middle of winter.

Also, does anyone know the computer requirments and what actually works best? I looked on DCI.org (only quickly) but I didn't see it. Thanks

The Blue Devils have an app, also. Plus it's free (or was when I downloaded, haven't checked).

I believe I saw a tweet that they no longer support it and use the moblie site. It hasn't worked for me in a long time. I deleted it.

I'm not much for using voice or recorded voice in a show, but I liked the use of the "what the hell am I doing here" in the show. Yes, I have a young child and it doesn't bother me as much as people without manners at a show. To each their own.

I love they have listed a "Master Cymbal Educator"

Oh, I know what kind of work it is. So, because no one really checks we can do things that are wrong instead of doing the right thing? I know many people/organizations do it. It doesn't make it right. It's just something that bugs me. Back to hyping the Troop. Go Troop!

I meant permission. I know many people do that sort of thing and not many will be looking for copyright infringement. That sort of thing just bugs me. Especially, when it comes from an organization that more than likely would not allow you to use their intellectual property. I did like it and am very excited for the season. Just something that gets to me.

I'm excited for the Troop. I like the video. It all sounds good. BUT did they get approval from Bon Jovi to use the song in the video.

a bit off topic, but does anyone else dislike the video treatment on the sides of the video (blur) that DCI is doing with the Halloween Screamers videos?

I believe they did this last year.

A) judges who knows B) it could be (not saying it is for SCV) that corps B would do exhibition so the members don't try and push to hard. Mostly thinking something like someone who is sick but mostly better coming back to soon because it is judged. Maybe?

I live in the midwest only get to see drum corps in June. But truthfully, the huge crowd in South Dakota isn't going to convince anyone about anything, not even me!
