Curious on the new brass designer? I had the impression most BAC folks liked RG's stuff. I could have done with a different approach to the music this year as I have a hard time getting to brass through the synth, drums and singing.

Good job on SCV to get past that issue with their electronic piano. Corps didn't miss a beat.

Has that BK solo always been on a trombone, I could have sworn it was a marching euph > 4 valve euph.

First group gets tomorrow off. I don't think it makes much unless corps are super tight for prelims seeding. Hopefully the admins of all the corps have got things scheduled right so their kids get good rehearsal and rest in before the final push.

That was a pretty awesome twist, there's also a guard member who gets yanked back down at the end from the white stick.

Agree. Like that it's not the exact same cut as last night. Although I am starting to recognize some the guard members that always seem to get caught in close ups

Agree. Some of the early videos sounded rough brass wise but they've got a good sound and can play the book they've been given. The entire visual design just falls flat and the guard book just seems bland.

Agreed. Loved the new stuff, they just need to get from the fugue to that redone. I hate being ready to jump out of my seat and then it falling flat. Did they add the vocals back in? Couldn't hear that well on my iPad

Crown's winning the goosebumps count. Love the organ symphony additions. Overall Guard work is stunning.

SCV'a show is awesome. The wife enjoyed it and asked how they don't hit each other b/c they're so close. Love the ballad and the overall brass book. One of my more favorite SCV shows since '99

Loved Crown. Liked the new drill, still think they need new music to the ending. Ode to Joy just isn't doing it for me :( I want to throw my first born for about the first 9 minutes, and then I decide to keep him.

So yeah, crowns brass at the end of the organ symphony. As a non-guard person watching the multi-cam, holy hell, that's a ton of rifle work and it's impressive.

He's in charge of it all, last time I checked. One look at their calendar and website and they've got a do fairly diversied lineup with a lot of revenue streams (U.S. Bands, dance classes, etc). I'd imagine designers and any paid summer staff are paid through 1099's.

Watched the capture again this morning and agree. So much better than a few nights ago. High cam was spot on and the actual video files were all properly encoded by Neulion this time around. That later point makes a huge impact on the actual quality the folks streaming it see:

Agreed. Giving to a second listen right now on the good speakers / tv and it was pretty smoking both video and audio. Now only if they get the live shows audio nailed down like this, it'll be swell. For the brass heads, last night was awesome and I'd love for them to do something similar each year

Anybody have a project schedule? Trying to figure out if this is going to run past 10:00 or not. Guess it depends on INT's performance.

Got it too. It's a load of horse poo. I don't want to instal an app to watch it, especially since it was available during the preview. What are we supposed to do this weekend if you've paid and can only watch on an iPhone? You just SOL. This just adds to the debacle and has been #### poor managed. I work in the tech sector and heads would absotulety roll if we botched a product like this. They've only know about these shows for what? About a year?
