I dig the Ludwig drums. They sound like drums again!

They aren’t professionals. They are students. The “paying customer” is irrelevant.

They had some staff changes. The covid disruption has certainly taken away their 2019 momentum.

I saw some photos. The snares are standard 12 x14.

Now that’s the Phantom the activity was missing!

SCV’s design in 2019 was not good. The pacing of moments, the lack of velocity and variety, the costuming, the color palette= train wreck. Who remembers the big tarp they put in mid season around Texas tour? That didn’t work at all. They should have been 6th at best. My thoughts on 2022 Bluecoats BAC Blue Devils Carolina Crown Cavaliers SCV Phantom Regiment The Cadets Blue Knights Blue Stars Mandarins Crossmen AND Troopers (tie in semifinals and both advance to finals)

That was 1985.
