  1. IMO Cadets show is not engaging the audience in the same manner as those in front of them. Don't believe this staff can clean it in the manner the old staff did. It's a 7th place show and it might take a miracle to stay there.
  2. At Tapa La Luna eating small plates drinking sangria getting medicated before the show. No scoping this evening perhaps a review of Cadets changes.
  3. Believe CT might break a 70 tonight. Corps is vastly improved.
  4. I'm looking for CT to break a 70 tonight. They're cleaning nicely. All sections are very much improved. Percussion is on fire. Very solid DCA Class 'A' corps ready to defend their 2016 title.
  5. I'll be in DeKalb. However I've periscope at every DCI show I go to. Rules I don't care about no stinking rules.
  6. As long as it's not Oprah or the Capital tarps I'll be ok with angel wings.
  7. We all need to wait for the new ending before blaming the man behind the curtain. Christ riding on a cloud, rays of lights coming down from the heavens and member levitations, so I've been told.
  8. Boston Crusaders are the story of the season.
  9. Perhaps it's not so much counting them out as it is not counting them in - as a medalist. Many other corps won't medal either, doesn't mean fans won't enjoy their programs. We all know that being a finalist is special. Other than a few videos and Flomarching which only allows you to see through the lens cameras and hear the quality good or bad of the recording, I'm looking forward to viewing Cadets live in DeKalb.
  10. Bob Fosse had so many legendary moves, so expect more dance moves. Bob Fosse's choreography is known for being deceptively complex. On the surface, it looks simple and minimalist, but it's actually incredibly difficult to master all his subtle nuances. What the MM's are doing is incredible. I tip my bowler hat to them.
  11. Meyer is the the clear leader against That Team Up North at 5-0 soon to be 6-0. Unlike Tressel who beat mediocre _ichigan teams 9-1, Urban won against mostly solid _ichigan teams as well, as his wins include three wins over top-20 _ichigan teams. Meyer’s clear highlight was beating No. 3 ranked _ichigan 30-27 in double OT in 2016, though his dominant 42-13 win over FailtotheVictors and company in 2015 was legendary in its own right.
  12. It's hard to bet against that 61-6 Urban Meyer Ohio State football team.
  13. On a quiet night in Ohio you can hear wolverines crying. In fact I can hear them crying in Illinois too.
  14. We're in two different locations. Home office and living room.
  15. CT has taken to this approach too. The 2017 season version of CT is a full 65 members, more talent and experience, more prepaired, better equipped (King and Pearl) with dedicated staff and administration. All sections show improvement and the members are enjoying the experience.
  16. I would be surprised if BAC didn't overtake Cadets. Believe they have been held back for some odd reason and are being a bit underscored. Cadets continue to fix what should have been done right before it was taught. Rewrites every single day every season trying to stop the bleeding of failed planning. The season is too short for that daily routine. No matter the changes the production is all it can be. I find it hard to believe a new ending, changed, rewritten or otherwise is going to make up a two point spread between Cavaliers. That would have to be one hell of a ending BAC should gain ground. Show was done right from the beginning, no rewrites or major changes, and now they're cleaning and layering. Members are in performance mode. With their staff they can improve very quickly, and we're beginning to see that translate to the sheets. Will it be enough to stay in front of Cadets, I'll leave that up to the opinions judging each night. I believe BAC will beat Cadets this season and more so sooner than later.
