You know what IS cool about Flo? I will be on a tour bus from Atlantic City today but i can watch the show on the BUS on my phone! I should be pulling in during intermission!

Crowd response seems tepid.

Seems to me that the explanation for the range of scores MIGHT just be that Crown (and everyone else) made some changes since San Antonio and Crown’s changes were just not as impactful as the changes that the corps ahead of them made. To out it another way, the changes made by the top 3 corps were more effective.

Geek here. VERY excited that i am FINALLY all wireless and “smart” for the Flo show tonight! Large screen tv, wireless streaming and wireless headphones so i don’t scare the neighbors! Got my drinks, and my snacks and, because it,s East Coast time, i can still get to bed in time to get an early start tomorrow. NOT as good as being there, but probably better than sweating in Allentown next weekend!

In an earlier post i said i wished they would change the color of the props for better visibility of the CG and ithought maybe black. As someone pointed out, that wouldn’t work for the MMs much the same reason. But when watching last nights show on YouTube i realized what Would work: Theater Curtain RED! Like the drapes on the arms of the 6 guard members who light the Ghostlight ar the opening of the show. It would add GREAT pop to the visual, which is already pretty #### great, and would be in keeping with the theme and the flourishes already in place. And masks for the whole corps finale!

I also have an idea for the end of the show, but if i share it, and i am right, it will spoil the surprise!

I would love to see these folks change the color on the wall props. When the CG, especially the rifles, are on the props, or in front of them, it is hard to see them. I think Black might be good, in which case i would give the drummers white tap shoes. Just my opinion. And i love the show, regardless.

Hopefully the wind dies down when the sun goes down.

I hope everyone who is going to the show tonight has a great time and gets to see the Corps at the top of their game! I am jealous!

What about those of us who have no connection to the activity whatsoever but wandered into a show once (perhaps many years ago?) and just really got into it? Can we have a group, too? We maybe know someone who marched once, or have a friend who is now involved in some way, but mostly have just spent our years bringing other newbies to events with us?

Wow! For once luck was on my side. I signed up for monthly just a couple of days ago so i could see the second night of Allentown but don’t need it after that because i will be in Indy! I am usually that person who suffers from bad timing! Hope you all get this worked out!

Separate and apart from the current allegations, i find the Cadets show to be completely out of bounds from day 1. The original presentation was shocking and tone deaf, and i will not watch it again to see how it has evolved. I feel badly for the MMs, but i will not watch or applaud a show that portrays any type of violence, especially violence against a woman. Crucify me all you want, but being a survivor of serious sexual and physical assault, this concept is abhorrent to me.

I am happy with the way this is all working out. If they had been beating SCV every night out of the gate, I might feel differently. But they edged them at their last head to head which has to be a psychological advantage for them. And we know they are adding and cleaning, so the anticipation of that first full line up is amped even higher!
