I've been trying to read around to see if their halftime performance at the NFL Hall of Fame Game will be televised and no luck so far 😓 (Wishful thinking I know). Either way this is a huge opportunity for the corps! I went in 2014 (barely remember the game itself) but I remember they brought Tennessee State's marching band up to perform and that was a lot of fun to watch. Hopefully NFL gets something worked out to showcase halftime on a national scale along with the game. But enough of my ramblings. Also Bloo is rehearsing in Little Rock currently. Isn't this usually the stop of the tour where they add their new ending? 😁

Thought I was just being ignored haha! But thank you! I ended up finding a video of the performance the next day and loving all the changes. I did notice that after the 3rd show or so of the season, they shortened that opening chord that led to the decrescendo and I wish they would lengthen it again! Loved hearing that wall of sound a little longer

So were the changes to Bloos show fairly significant?

I just checked my schedule and the flo schedule and I'm gonna be missing more than half the shows, so really doesn't seem worth it at this point. Luckly I'll be at the Akron TOC show so that makes up for it haha. Thank you though!

The monthly subscription is still available for me for $30. I've been debating for a long time if I should get it or not. And this thread hasn't really helped me make up my mind haha! Would anyone be able to tell me if getting this last month through flo is worth it? I know I've been reading flo still doesn't have the best sound quality which is making me weary.

This just made me realize, this is probably been my favorite year of DCI show wise so far. Makes me very happy 🤗

I’ll fanboy a little more here. This show is the real deal and I can’t remember being blown away by a bluecoats show like I was tonight!! You just keep getting better and better. This is gonna be a show to remember for a long time. also, THAT HORNLINE. They’re out for blood. goodnight dcp world 😊

Bloo you definitely have a contender there. That brass could be in the running in my opinion. I was iffy on crowns show from their dress rehearsal video but I fell in love with it seeing it tonight! And Boston I’m believing the hype! Loved it! Bloo crowd favorite by a landslide in my theater.

Oh goodness this is too hard butttttt I'd have to go with Cavaliers 2002 Bluecoats 2016 Phantom Regiment 2008 Blue Devils 2014 HM: Carolina Crown 2013 I have to admit I haven't seen a lot of championships shows but these have been my "on repeat" ever since I saw them!

This always me worry going into a season with Bloo. I know they are a GE juggernaut as they have proven time and time again but never know how they will fair in other captions. But at the same time, Bloo "needing to be competitive" in other captions has never been a problem. Have they ever won a caption on finals night? No. But do they win captions over the course of the season and consistently place top 3 in captions on finals night? Yes. Bloo holds their weight in captions and is a reason they have won the night of premiere the last two (three?) years and medaled the last 4 out of 5 years. But I do agree that this year seems to be more tight than ever. It'll be a dog fight! I can't wait!

If I’m not mistaken, that was Bloo’s 44th show on the field. ( which I thought was extremely cool and loved the name ❤️)

I wouldn’t put it past them lol! Last year the repertoire was out for a few weeks at this time but they didn’t announce the show until 6:44 the day of(I think?). I know it was some time at :44 as they were playing with the whole “44” theme.

I like the show already and think it has a lot of potential! Definitely a more mature show from last year and last year was one of my favorite shows of the season. Rooting for you Crossmen!!!

I'm really glad you've enjoyed this! Wasn't sure how the turn out would be! I am somewhat surprised at the Final 2 myself. But I am not at the same time seeing as though they're 2 of the most successful (and 2 shows considered to be the best) drum corps of all time so of course they will have a larger following. and with everything you have said, that adds up. I do notice that among my generation (I'll be 20 next month), Carolina Crown seems to reign supreme which seems to align with the Facebook tourney from last year. I feel it's also very hard to come up with an actual "best" show of all time as everyone has different criteria when it comes to that, although when I do hear that, Cavaliers 2002 seems to come up the most. Personally I'm so indecisive that I can't even come up with my own favorite show let alone a best show of all time 😂

I’m not sure myself as I don’t have any controls over the polls after they’re made. My guess is that Cadets had the tying vote and since they were the last entity to be voted on between the two, they got to advance. Just my guess though. I was hoping there wouldn’t be any ties to avoid weird stuff like that but what can you do!
