All time favorite "Drum Corps Moment".
RichDeCapio replied to Tansea's topic in Historical Junior Corps Discussions
My all time favorite drum corps moment happened when I was marching onto the field at j birny crum and Bob "Pugsly" McCarthy says under his breath welcome to the 90's ............meaning we were going to break 90 that day Labor day 1986 I can remember it like it was yesterday -
The best exercise I know is to play rr ll as 16th triplet ruff. Then play an eighth note first then opposite hands ll rr.

1986 Bush ..... learned everything I know about how to do drum corps thanks Pugsly, Jim Dugan and Fast Frankie 1989 Hurcs for all the wrong reasons. consumed more adult beverages than ...........thanks spike and yoda,.. loops and feather -
The Bridgemen Alumni drumline have switched to promark products and we are currently using the DC14I untill the developement of Dennis' stick is finished. These are great playing sticks ( the dc14i's) with a nice feel. The snare player next to me in line said during warm-ups that they make playing hard flam passages effortless. Rumor has it he might offer an oak version which should be a compromise between the d'lite and the d'heavy
