I have a feeling that this will happen more often on parades. Don’t see why not, considering the number of derelict people in this country that have easy access to these types of weapons because of “some reason”. As more of these incidents happen, the public will make a decision to avoid being shooting targets until things change, which don’t seem likely to happen for “some reason”. It hurt my heart to hear of the father who felt he had to put his toddler in a dumpster during the incident to keep the toddler safe.

Subtle? Didn’t they kill people in that show? Didn’t they stab the drum major and take his place? I don’t know that I’d use subtle as the word to describe Phantom’s attempts to appeal to the crowd, but maybe there were some things I forgot.

I’m watching the show backwards in order of performance and I LOVE Blue Stars show. My favorite so far of the night!

I like Crown’s show better than Bluecoats. I feel like it has more substance, and I’m not just referring to the fabric. Always a bit cheesy for me, but that’s Crown’s style. I really liked their 2019 show, though.

I liked the original version of Moon River, but I’ll this one’s ok too. At least I have a sample to listen to and enjoy.

I’m really digging The Crossmen too. It’s going to be a fantastic year!

Watching the performances in reverse order on Flo, Cavaliers, Blue Stars and BAC are my favorite so far. I’ll have to give Bluecoats another chance later. I felt like I was watching a Blue Knights show, but I usually like Blue Knights shows.

They would do the same thing they are doing now. Focusing on the quality and what their members can achieve in due time. Why would they care about early scores?

I’ve seen a grown man behind me grab a child next to me he didn’t know by his shirt and try to pull the child up because he was talking to a friend during a drum corps show. Both were removed from the event. This was in the early 2000s. You think society has leveled up since then? I’m sorry to have to break some news to you.

I don’t think people should feel entitled to know who has been vaccinated and who has not, but businesses should. Even if someone says they have been vaccinated, knowing the kind of people half this country have revealed themselves to be over the past few years and especially last year, I wouldn’t trust them to be truthful. I have family who cannot yet be vaccinated because of medical reasons and I will continue to mask up until they can, and I will associate with people I know have absolutely have been responsible until then, CDC and opinionated social/news media “experts” be ######.

I understood that there are no “championships” this year, as whatever’s happening on the last day is not judged. Is this incorrect?

I just noticed that in the closer, where the brass joins in together, some of the guard spin their rifles in the air and then treat it like a hammer working on a train track. I think this was a reference to the 2004 show. I wonder what other references I am missing!

Couldn’t choose between 2019, 2017, 2015 or 2010. Love those shows so much. Ended up picking 2019. I really liked 2011, too.
