I say this as a huge Bluecoats fan and only from watching flomarching this year, Blue Devils seem to March and play better right now, with a show that plays to their strengths, as usual Bluecoats very creative show with lots of GE but May not perform it as well as BD performs theirs when it’s all said and done. This has been the case since 2017 Hoping another corps can knock these two off the “potential champion” pedestal (Crown?)

Bluecoats had amazing energy, should win GE, but some of that drill was not DCI champion clean...and this is from an alum Blue Devils looked the cleanest, dunno about the GE thing though Crown sounded the best... All from my vantage point (stream from a band hall)

Keep in mind Bloo and BD went back to back so judges had a good chance for some "direct comparison"

My favorite was one of the members that said the show was about Cotton Candy and that it would be "sweet"

I know this is against Hop's wishes but did anyone happen to record the "live" event last night? I was teaching my own band camp at home and by the time I got home the video was taken down

05 uniforms were the best, especially the white accent on the front logo. I still dont think anything since then tops that uniform

a 78 in rep and perf, instead of the printed 88 and 88, would make more sense...not to say Alber Lo doesn't really think BK was a whole point better than SCV in the GE caption tonight...just fishy is all, maybe a tabulation error, maybe not. We'll see i guess

Is this the first time ever that Bluecoats guard has beaten BD's guard?

Competing against them must be a pain in the neck...

It will be interesting to see how BK fits in with Stars and BAC (and Scouts? they are ahead but not uncatchable) in this tier

Bluecoats improving their visual scores is significant, and put them atop Crown. Still a toss up until we get full panels though. Thats a really low score for Boston...

Hearing some reports of scores...anything official?

I wasn't gonna be the one to say it... when I saw the first recordings of the show I noticed the brass and visual book was a bit easier than last year (2013), but didn't think too much of it since the show is packed with GE. Hopefully they can beef some stuff up before the big regionals (except percussion..obviously they are on track for a record breaking year)

Well I guess it was only a matter of time before I could no longer claim to have marched the best Bluecoats ever anymore (my years marched in the sig)... i guess i'll live
