Maybe Crown got a penalty? Maybe they had an off night? Maybe Phantom was just on fire? At least wait for the recap. the fellow that was reporting in as it was happening said there was really bad wind blowing during Crown's performance--he said flags and hats were blowing all over the field. Ahh...for the days when Drum Corps World would post reviews bi-weekly... If the webcast technical problems (reported here) last night are as bad as they were reported, I'm sure late recaps are the least of DCI's worries. Not to mention preparations for finals in Pasadena, almost 2000 miles from the home office. Cut them a little slack. Or apply for the job: webmaster@dci.org. Phantombari1 Posted August 5, 2007 Share Posted August 5, 2007 (edited) After looking over recaps have a few thoughts... Spirits brass score (IMO) is a joke... Boston did not recieve a penalty for have a staff member on the field during the begining of the show. Cavies brass score especially in the GE department was a joke (IMO) absolutely no emotion what so ever. Clean and silent yes ... I would have had them 3rd at best... All though I support the academy, from a critical perspective they got the home town vote...I thought it was their worst show of the year. Madison had a much better performance and other than their color guard thought they should have jumped tonight.
