G-Rott
Quick question...I noticed a couple corps had people shooting "smoke" from fire extinguishers during their performances at finals. Does DCA allow special effects by non-performing members?
bill
Quick question...I noticed a couple corps had people shooting "smoke" from fire extinguishers during their performances at finals. Does DCA allow special effects by non-performing members? I thought it was disallowed whether by performing or non performing members. At one time it was allowed, then I thought there was a rule change to disallow it a few years back.
Dennis Argul
as long as the extinguishers are in G, it's all good.

KeithHall
It's the Vince Bruni law and it will never be changed. It's all good. Canadian Knights used a white powdery substance in their flag poles (years ago) when they played "Take The A-Train."

LegalEagle50
i'm thinking the white powdery substance he's referring to is baby powder. it does make a great visual effect under the lights.

CozyChopsCom
Thanks! What about the Vince Bruni Law? The Vince Bruni Law: "Entertain, entertain, entertain. Give the fan$ what they want!" Dry ice, fire extinguishers have often been used. I found it ironic that both the Rochester corps used "smoke" this year. I missed any memo that it had been forbidden.
