Just keeping in on top...

Please Read Before You Post
If you *know* who it is.... please wait a while (not everyone is on here all day or even daily for that matter)
If there have been no Guesses..........Then give a *challenging* hint.
When giving hints on these try to be creative and just dangle the tiniest tidbit. Make people really think / work on it. Then wait it out a while before tossing another tiny vague tidbit...

C'mon we've got to make these last a little longer. PLEASE??

Also, any comments made MUST be made in good taste... this is a fun loving thread... not a revenge match. Please spew your venom elsewhere.
Please submit any questions and / or pics in their full size (preferably JPG format), with full description - names, Corps, Stadium, Year... etc. to:
The *Guess Who* Mailbox
Thanx in advance!

All that said and out of the way..

Even with the clue, I'm lost on this one. And Oravez was a sop.

And a hell of a sop he was. Although perhaps a tiny bit alititudanally challenged like Tony, Don, Guido, But like those guys he made it up in heart and testicular fortitude.

Fish sez: If I had to guess I'd say New Britain Grenadiers.

Hmmm ... the only Grenadier joining the Hurcs was a snare drummer, Billy Pritchard (sp) ... and that was 1964 ... he later (way later) resurfaced for a few years to play with the Cabs in the 80's or 90's ...

Any other clues on the guys name ... or nickname? ... I never did get the "ordinary" clue unless you meant he was a Smith or a Jones ...

:-)

Big Sal Genovese was a bass drummer from New Britain too, but it's clearly not him. I guess nobody got that our subject is just an ordinary _ _ _ who also likes his morning cup of _ _ _.
