I never met this man. Before my time a bit.

But the Sunrisers vets from his era speak quite highly of him, and the impact he had on that corps.

I think he was more a Ford man than a Chevy man!

He also had a short stint with the Ct. Vagabonds.. a rather "short" stint

I'd like to go on record here that I got it before I read the Car and VIN clues.

Although I'm a little embarrassed that this is what I'm thinking about while doing housework.

BTW, 106 here today - Summer has arrived.

I remember being at "the Pit" in Mineola in 1965 when Sun was learning drill to the West Side Story opener... all anyone would talk about was this guy's drill, pretty amazing when you think of how amazing the horn book was that year.
