Ashley
How is figure skating a sport if drum corps isn't? Edited March 12, 2008 by Ashley
SaraNYC
In other news, Phantom Regiment does away with "The Wedge" for their Spartacus show, insisting now that it be called "The Phalanx" I'll have you know that the "wedge" is illegal in rugby. MikeD
I'll have you know that the "wedge" is illegal in rugby. But how about the wedg-ie?
Vanguard07
I'm going to say boxing is probably much harder than DCI...
kmansdrummin
While I wouldn't call DCI a sport, it's physiclally harder than sports like Golf and Poker. There's also a correlation with Figure Skating in the fact that the judging is based on opinion, and scores can be less than fair and sometimes a joke, (especially in DCI). Maybe a comparason on boxing; Gail Royer and Bobby Hoffman would be Muhammad Ali, and Hopkins would be Mike Tyson. Just IMO.
BLOONATE
A marcher isn't in danger of getting hit in the face while marching, tell that to my two fake front teeth ....
SaraNYC
But how about the wedg-ie? Oh, those are a different story. Especially when you are in a scrum!
K-Swiss
A marcher isn't in danger of getting hit in the face while marching My point here was to say that while there is always the danger of getting injured (even a curling broom thing can snap and the curler can faceplant), it's not meant to happen. dbc03
You are having delusions of grandeur if you think DCI even comes close
skewerz
more people die every year from fishing than any other sport...probably more than all others combined... fishing is the toughest...
