I can't imagine why the original poster started it, except for to give people a convienient way to hurt the feelings of about 1300 hard-working young people (if you listed 10 corps and they all had the maximum number of members).And anyone who responded with a list is as bad as the original poster, IMO. Threads like this just emphasis the garbage that keeps a lot of drum corps fans that I know from ever going to DCP. Well, so far (knock on wood), everyone has been really cool about it. Grant it, 2002 has the most but that was also the only year that I didn't go to Finals or a major regional. 2001 Glassmen - when did drumcorps become a concerto for flugelhorn? 2001 Madison - This is where the descent happened for me. 2001 Boston - A letdown after 2000. 2002 SCV - I never saw this show live, which is probably why I never caught on...but I didn't like it 2002 Crown - Togas are just unforgivable...the whole concept was a bad idea. I know this show wasn't Top 12, but I had to show I disliked my own corps at least once to prove I'm not a total homer 2002 Boston - All the pandering talk about Cadets that year, but this is the one I felt the most contempt for 2002 PRegiment - Shostakovich!!!!! oh....let down :( 2002 Glassmen - Ehhh Part Deux 2003 SCV - 2 years in a row....nothing for me 2004 Cadets - Jethro Tull? Really? WHY? 2004 Madison - It wasn't that interesting until Malaga, and even that was not quite as good as the past. 2004 BK - I couldn't tell you a thing about this show. 2004 Glassmen - Martha who? 2005 BK - In their defense, I was too busy paying attention to the fire marshals clearing the stadium than their show. 2006 SCV - I was one of the few that didn't like it. 2006 BK - I'm seeing a trend with BK. 2006 Madison - Tough comparing these guys to the 90's 2007 PRegiment - I'm not drinking the kool aid...the best part of this show they played too fast (Lakme) 2007 SCV - Again....??? or should I say !!!! didn't like it, didn't think it shoulda finished above 2 corps 2007 BK - Trend continues Edited May 5, 2008 by DCImonkey Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
