ssmrr
Would you like fries with that !!!!!! Boy that brings back memories. I worked there while attending Suffolk University.Made great pay $70/night with no taxes taken out as I was a student. Geat money in the '70's. I grew up in Revere! and Whenever the weather gets nice, no matter where I live I crave Kelly's. When I visit my family in NH I always drive the hour and a half to the beach for some Kelly's. The one on Rt. 1 is not the same. Anyone want to send me a large roastbeef with bbq sauce?
dckid80
My dad who is now retired and living in AZ and 70 years old apprenticed me at Kelly's. None of the other ones they built will be the same. How could it be if your not fighting the sea gulls for your french fries? Honorable mention to these steak tips just down the road... ssmrr
Great now I can smell those steak-tips. I had my first date there. Love that place! They also have another place some where in NH. Or they used too. I will have to check with my parents. I can't wait to get home in August so I can go and eat!
dckid80
Then there is that song that BCN used to play... Down at Revere Beach, Sittin' on the Wall, Checkin' out the b*tches, Drinkin' PBR tall, Got my other hand free, So I tug on my balls, Go Guido Go Guido Go. Hotel, motel, Donny burned 'em down. The cops got wise So he hadda leave town. So I'm just chillin' to Italian ice (?) sounds, Go Guido Go Guido Go. You can't touch dis. Hey, I said you can't touch dis. Hey, get off the Pontiac.... ...wish I remembered the rest of it.
tgk2779
I usually make it back to Boston 1-2 times per year, and my first stop is usually at Kelly's on the beach. It's only a few minutes from Logan. Surf & Turf (Reveah style) includes Roast Beef and Fried Clams! Fried Clams, Steak Tips (from the New Bridge or the 99), and sloppy Chinese food in the middle of the night aren't available in California! Neither is freezing rain, traffic circles or potholes, but I can live with that. Garry in Vegas
