ToferVis
not really a solo, but bluecoats 07 gives tubas some much needed love.
baristeve
not really a solo, but bluecoats 07 gives tubas some much needed love. there was also a contra/trumpet transitional duet in 06 that was cool.
jthomas666
There was a pretty great contrabass solo in 27th Lancers 1980.
goalieguy
One of the best moments in finals was the contra solo in '78 North Star's 'Sir Duke'..The solo wasn't the greatest, but after getting a pie in the face after the intro...who could blame the guy! LMAO when I saw that on TV !! Crowd went nuts! The contra 'soli' in '86 Star with the 20+ contras in 'Close Encounters' was pretty good in it own right. Galen
Second the "Close Encounters" solo. Best 16-man contra solo ever!
Eddie
Madison 1994 - In the Hall of the Mountain King - Swinging Pete Wasn't this in 98? I don't recall that in the 94 show.... I don't think. My vote would be 98 Scouts.... same as above.
rut-roh
Wasn't it Jeff Sacktic playing a tuba with a trumpet mouthpiece in the 1986 Cadets show? Or am I losing it in my old age??
