sydstranda
Gee whiz... I liked the pink Star unis, and I also like Madison's new unis (aside from the colorguard faux pas). I agree however, that '88 Spirit, the grey BD era, and Khaki Phantom unis are right out. Here's a question; If you were to design uniforms for a brand new corps, what colors would you pick? Obviously blue and green and red are waaaaay taken.

Depends on style, subdued is monochromatic and bold is complimentary. btw jj is on old corps photos page 1348 :)
straightj23
from what I've seen, here's my top 4: 4. Phantom Regiment 1997: why did they have to put a big star on the front of their uniforms? Why? 3. Carolina Crown 2003-2006: sorry. never cared for it. 2. Southwind 2006 and before: thought those hats were the ugliest thing ever. 1. Glassmen 1993: so pretty! Keep it....best looking uni I've seen on them in years.
BigBoom
The Colts candy corn uniforms = worst ever. Trust me, I wore one for two years. Having endured the Colts' JC Penny's white jeans, white western shirt, and BLACK VINYL VEST uni of '73, '74 and '75, I can tell you that slipping into that snazzy orange jacket in '77 made me feel like a king. The "vinyl years" were hard on the self-esteem. I considered them then and until seeing the Jolly Jesters' uniforms 5 minutes ago, to be the worst uniforms ever. I feel better though after seeing the JJs. Boom
bfhdznr
I know you all like to consider it the hieght of the activity and the pinicle of all the is great, but any uni from the 80's. Sheesh what was with the excessive use of shiny lame and hypercolor. . . OUCH.
tommytimp
I know you all like to consider it the hieght of the activity and the pinicle of all the is great, but any uni from the 80's. Sheesh what was with the excessive use of shiny lame and hypercolor. . . OUCH. As silly as they seem now, lame and hypercolor and shiny shiny were all totally on trend in the 80s. Twenty years from now people are going to wonder what was up with all the high-waisted jackets and black black black. That's fashion.
