JimF-LowBari
We'll play a tribute to the late great Isaac Hayes.......... Well that's timing concerning Isaac Hayes..... Weird thing is I just read in the paper that Hayes is in a movie that's coming out in the next few months. Another person in the movie is Bernie Mac. Oh yeah, I'll go too, but not as close as Gene will be. Edited August 21, 2008 by JimF-3rdBari

Fran Haring
If YOU have not been tuned in to the Mini-Corps scene lately... you are about to be blown away.... no hype ... these corps' are THAT GOOD! I agree 100 percent, Tom. The mini-corps at the Harrisburg show in April all brought something good to the table. Toss in a few more corps and you have a great show! brassomaniac
Thanks, Frank.Just had to move a couple players around to new parts. I ended up on mello again! And, we're also adding a Super-Secret Guest Performer! Our guys are pretty resilient...., and they'll be JUST FINE! may be able to squeeze another trumpet player in next week, but we'll likely peform with: 6 trumpet 2 mello 6 bari 1 tuba 2 perc NO conductor - had to move him to trumpet, to take my place! Looking forward to seeing GE, as well. You guys are gonna represent! MCA ROCKS!!! I'm happy to report that... on top of an excellent rehearsal on Wednesday.. where we repositioned some players... we also have had a couple excellent players step up to fill spots, at this late date. Sometimes stuff just works out! You know who you are..... so THANKS!!!! We're all JAZZED about performing with you!
