DrinkinOuttaCups
I don't think they've announced a title yet.
oldsoprano
I don't think it needs a "title."
Iplaytimpani
Heh...if the Spirit team has been able to get the members to "dig" some of the recent show ideas, this one should be no problem. Not even beginning to claim that I speak for anyone else, but as a slightly younger member of DCP and only a recent age out, I have been much more excited about previous show ideas and music. The music of Kansas has a place with me as its one of the first shows I really knew in drum corps thanks to an older brother who marched NA, but currently, I have a hard time seeing it home with members. Yet, I know Boerma will make it sound good and Spirit will be fine. I just hope that it serves to propel them the way they hope it will. DrinkinOuttaCups
I don't think it needs a "title." How about "pe-ri-kansas-ry?" Or "pe-ri-carry on wayward son?" I'm bored. Edited November 21, 2008 by Mellofone08
dciknowledge
It will be interesting! I love the November...who really knows?
THE ORIGINAL
Kansas belongs on the radio.not the football field. Bad choice. Ok given a chance to think. not the most innovative. but. born on wings of steel - Icarus - could be very good stuff. to adapt to drum corps must have of course massive re writes. and could loose the integrity of the original music see 2004 cadets /Jethro Tull , BD /tommy show , Crossmen /meatloaf , Crown / Queen there is the problem. Galen
Hmm...when is the last time Spirit did this? Last year. And the year before that. Basically, every time they "reinvent" themselves.
