HardCorp
Not going to happen as long as corps have to obtain music licensing permission & synch rights. Would love to see BD do "The Beatles." Where did I get that idea? Just watch RCC perform it at BOA. RCC also known as BD South.
bawker
Not going to happen as long as corps have to obtain music licensing permission & synch rights. How did RCC get it? I thought a lot of the more competitive marching bands and drum corps used CopyCat. BD and a Beatles show would be pretty awesome.
crfrey71
How did RCC get it? I thought a lot of the more competitive marching bands and drum corps used CopyCat.BD and a Beatles show would be pretty awesome. RCC opened and ended with Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, then also played "I want to hold your hand," "Got to get you into my life," "Can’t buy me love" (the jazzy version...Michael Buble) My favorite is Can't buy me love. That song smokes as a jazz arrangement. I photographed their performance at Ramona High School in Riverside. They also performed at BOA. Stryfe
Just so you know...gospel means concrete. Not the style of music. I'm aware.

Check out West Chester University Marching show entitle "Vegas" on a certain site. Andrew Yozviak their director/arranger did it justice, and I thought the band did it pretty well. Try to check out their Hershey, PA performance, I think that one was good... it was cold out though.

RCC would likely not need synch and recording rights to just arrange and peform said arrangement.

Lance
Just ignore it. It's one of the handful of things that he says over and over again in every post, no matter the thread. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to a lot of announcements. Especially BD's.
