'04 SCV and '93 Phantom duked it out clear into overtime, but in the end it was SCV that proved to be too much for the Regiment in this duel. After an impressive 80some votes were cast, '04 SCV claims the best 3rd place title once again in this poll. Now then... who takes home the 2nd place poll?? (i've been thinking for a couple days, yeah i'm a loser) eliminate star... it's between 89 and 06. That is rough... My vote: 2006 Phantom Regiment. I enjoy this show more than Spartacus. The ballad is my all time favorite drum corps ballad, mainly because it is my favorite Ave Maria, and that chord at the end, which is just spectacular. I love the visual package from this year, and all the music. If it had two or three more shows to clean up, it would have won. I loved 89, I think phantom's cleanest show ever.
